115 Arrowpersons and their families gathered January 20, 2001, for the 16th Annual Cahuilla Lodge Family Banquet. The event was held in San Bernardino at the American Legion Post # 14 off Sierra Way.

The guests included Bobby Brock (W4B Section Chief), Paul Olaso (W4B Section Vice-Chief), Steve Bradley (Western Region OA Chairman), and James Arriola (Area 4 Adviser). Mr. Bradley was our guest speaker and spoke of National, Regional, and Section opportunities, and congratulated our lodge for attaining the Quality Lodge Recognition this year.

A raffle and patch auction raised over $1000 dollars for our effort to completely renovate the existing trailer at Camp Emerson that is in need major repairs. Cahuilla Lodge is heading the effort at the camp.

Vinney Williams, Past Lodge Chief, and Garth Olson, Lodge Chief, both spoke with thank-yous and recognitions for those who have been instrumental in their success. Awards were given out to chapters and lodge members (see listing below).

The night culminated with a 13 minute video powerpoint presentation titled, "2000, A Year In Review." That presentation will soon be available for purchase.
