Costa Mesa, CA--Cahuilla Lodge dominated at this year's Conclave, taking home the Niganet award and Spirit. Since 1993, Cahuilla has taken home 11 of the 18 section awards. Adorned with foam hammers and plastic hard hats, the Lodge got off to a stunning start at the Friday night show, where their yells and cheers were enough to make the Section Chief laugh. Throughout the event, Cahuilla "hammered" the competition. This year, they did not win many of the sporting events, but showed a great ability to establish participation in nearly every one. Key was the participation award statistics, which helped them take home the Niganet. Congratulations are due to the eighty-plus participants, who were able to overcome a three-to-one ratio with Wiatava to compete at the conclave.
