You Are Invited To Attend The 2008 Section W4B Conclave

The Section W4B Conclave will be held May 2 - 4, 2008 at Mataguay Scout Ranch. It is time for all Cahuilla Lodge members to unite for a big showing of spirit and fellowship.

The Conclave is one of the best events of the year, bringing together all three Lodges in our Section, including Tiwahe and Wiatava Lodges.

The weekend is a lot of fun. It offers sports and activities, awesome evening programs including a fun closing show, interaction with other lodges, and morning training from some of the best youth and adult leaders in Southern California.

Last year, Cahuilla Lodge was the service Lodge for a very successful conclave at Camp Emerson. Not only was the conclave a big success, but we took home the three section awards, the Niganet, Lodge Execellence, and Spirit. Our Lodge Chief, Nick Gaskin, has called on all Cahuilla arrowmen to support this event and provide a large contingent and defend these awards.

This year, Cahuilla is in charge of training and communications. Led by Alex Carney, we will be putting together the training classes and materials to make sure everybody enjoys the courses they are taking. Kyle Sitarski is heading up communications, and will provide the section with the Bear Facts newsletter throughout the weekend. These fine arrowmen will need your help and support.

The section will also elect new section officers for the 2008 - 2009 year. It has been an honor to see one of our very own, Aaron Jones, serve as the Section W4B Chief this year.

Please download the flyer and send it in as soon as possible. In April, late fees will apply. You will be able to register for your classes soon on the Section W4B website.
