May 2000 Ordeal Summary

    &nbspI hope you all enjoyed the May Ordeal, It was a big success. We had over 69 candidates become Ordeal Members. We also had about 30 new Brotherhood Members. We were luck to have great weather up at camp Helendade. Our pre ordeal and ordeal ceremony teams from Atsa and Tahquitz were great, along with the one Brotherhood team also from Tahquitz. The ceremony teams did a great job even with so many candidates going through at once. We got a lot of work done at Camp Helendade too. The Archery range along with several other areas were cleaned and set up for summer camp. We also moved tons of trees and shrubbery with old blue down to the lake for FoxFire. Several quanta huts were put up there the ranger was very happy with. Phil Mandery was our taskmaster for this weekend and did a great job. I would also like to thank troop fifty from the Whialum chapter for helping to clean the main lodge for us. We also got some help from several guys from Tahquitz who helped to clean the dining hall. Elliot Brooks did a great job as Associate Ordealmaster, even with all the ceremony teamwork he had to do. For everyone who wasn't mentioned in this summary thank you for your time and support, and congratulations to all the new Ordeal and Brotherhood members.
