The Chief Speaks

Fellow arrowmen,
Our paths have once again brought us to this wonderful journey we have labeled as the Order Of The Arrow. I am looking forward to a great year as Lodge Chief, and to serving you the members of the lodge. Cahuilla Lodge has prospered for many years and we have a lot to live up to, but with your help and participation I truly believe that our lodge will reach new heights and redefine the standards of old.

A good friend once told me that, "Only the best young men become boy scouts, and only the best of the best become OA members." Over the years I have come to realize the truth held in this statement. The dedication of our members is incomparable to any other organization. We have a lot of outstanding events this year such as the Lodge Banquet, Conclave and Fall Fellowship. I hope to see a significant increase in the membership of these events. We have set records for attendance in the past, but records are meant to be broken. I would personally like to invite you to attend these events, even if you haven't been to a meeting in years; now is the time to rededicate yourself.

We are the best of the best with nothing to lose and everything to gain, so lets make this a year that will go down in the books as one of the most prominent years in the history of Cahuilla Lodge 127!
