My Fellow Arrowmen,
The year of 2011 was a profound year for the Cahuilla
Lodge. I am proud to say that we have once again attained the
recognition of being a National Quality Lodge (for the seventh year in a
row!!!). Congratulations to all of you. Furthermore, we have
accomplished a great deal in pursuit of that goal. Earlier this year,
Cahuilla was the instrumental lodge in the Section W4S project
AreaCorps2 in Joshua Tree National Park. Of the sixty-three
participants, Cahuilla provided forty-five of them. This truly shows our
dedication to service. I have had the honor of being your chief this
year and I look forward to staying on for 2012. I would like to thank
all of my officers, John, Mark, Michael, Justin, and Billy, for their
hard work this year. I would also like to thank my adviser, Mr. Ken
Hedrick, for his help and support. I look forward to working with the
new LEC. We have a lot to do this year, a NOAC and the new Journey to
Excellence program to name a couple things. Despite everything in our
path, I know that you, the Arrowmen of the Cahuilla Lodge, will endeavor
to accomplish it.
Yours In Service,
Ian K. McLeod
Cahuilla Lodge Chief, 2012
