The Inductions and Indian Affairs Weekend will be held March 28 - 30 at Camp Emerson at Boseker Scout Reservation. Led by Adam and Alex, our Second and Third Vice-Chiefs, the weekend will include fun activities on ceremonies, Indian Crafts, and Indian Lore. The cost is only $12.00 per person and each attendee gets to make their own Medicine Wheel. Negami Award: Aca Chapter Chapter Excellence Award: Wanakik Chapter Spirit Award: Serrano Chapter 9 members of the Order received the Vigil Honor and we thank them not only for the service they have given, but the service they will give in the future. Finally, 16 youth received the Ceremony Expert certification, include 3 teams who finished the Team certification. We thank them for their dedication. Congratulation to Aaron Jones for his election to Section W4B Chief. Cahuilla Lodge won all 3 section awards, the Niganet (best Lodge at conclave), the Lodge Excellence (best Lodge in 2006 - 2007), and the Spirit. More information should be coming shortly.
Cahuilla Lodge has recently been selected as one of only 2 Western Region
recipients of the E. Urner Goodman Camping Award. This annual honor recognizes
worthy lodges based on the percentage of their units reached for camping
promotion visitations, growth in camping in their council, and being a Quality Lodge.

This is the fourth time Cahuilla Lodge has received this honor, also being recognized in 1983, 1995, and 2003. More information should be coming shortly.

Cahuilla Lodge Celebrates A Fine Year At The 2007 Lodge Banquet

Cahuilla Lodge capped off a very successful Cahuilla Lodge Banquet on January 20, 2007. For the first time, it was attended by the National Chief of the Order of the Arrow. About 140 Scouts and Scouters attend the Cahuilla Lodge Banquet and enjoy a great evening
of fun, fellowship, and recognition.
